Pavers work fantastic in our Northern Freeze / Thaw cycles. They are very flexible when properly installed on the correct base material. There are literally hundreds of colors and patterns available. We also use a polymeric sand in the joints to keep sand from migrating and weeds from germinating.
All concrete products should be scaled at least every other season to insure longevity. Permeable pavers are new to the market and offer very little surface runoff. They actually have voids between them to absorb runoff. Pavers are generally higher priced than other materials due to labor, base work and longevity of product. |
